Rev. Linda Adams served as a Free Methodist pastor for 17 years before becoming Director of International Child Care Ministries, the child sponsorship program of the global Free Methodist Church. While pastoring in Rochester, New York, her life was impacted by 33 refugees from Central Africa who began attending her church. Through them, God opened her eyes to many issues that harm children, including war, extreme poverty and child soldiering. Now she takes joy in being on the solution side, leading a ministry that impacts 20,000 children's lives. Through sponsorship and other programs, children are reached, fed, educated and protected from exploitation. She devotes her life to promoting justice and opportunity for children in 30 countries.
