Keith Perkins

What seems to the human mind an untimely passing prevented Keith Perkins, a loyal, dedicated husband and father, from carrying those roles further. On August 10, 2009 he was found deceased in a Newark, New Jersey hotel room of a cardiac arrhythmia.
Keith married Tanya Trezise in 1998. In their early years they served at Edgewood Free Methodist Church, ultimately being part of an associated church plant in Parma, NY. They both worked there faithfully in leadership and music until in recent years attending New Hope Church in similar capacities.
Keith was “always there” at a moment’s notice for anyone in need. And in sports, adventure and other arenas, he would invariably just “go for it,” embracing the new and the old in life with gusto.
A poignant, remembrance of Keith is linked with a 2003 trip with Tanya and her family to California (Yosemite and Lake Tahoe). More than once he was overcome with emotion at such grandeur. Then in 2007, the same group plus others rafted wildly through the Grand Canyon.
May we continue to recall his dedication to God, family, and church, and his expressed appreciation of the Creator
