Brian was born and raised in Grand Rapids, MI, graduating from Grand Rapids Christian High School in 1974. He earned a degree in biology from Calvin College in 1978 and a degree in biology in 1983 from Grand Valley State University. Fun-loving and hard-working, Brian enjoyed his career as an analytical chemist as well as his time with family and friends. He was fond of interacting with his "dog kids", working outdoors and anything to do with airplaines and flying. He also loved science, reading, writing and music. Brian was a devoted and faithful husband to Colleen, his wife of 20 years. A committed Christian, he was passionate about sharing his faith with others and found joy in doing mission work. He quietly and compassionately assisted those in need in a variety of ways. A momentous time in his life happened three years ago when he and Colleen became parents to their precious eight-year-old daughter, Nina. She stole his heart and he adored her.

What seems to the human mind an untimely passing prevented Keith Perkins, a loyal, dedicated husband and father, from carrying those roles further. On August 10, 2009 he was found deceased in a Newark, New Jersey hotel room of a cardiac arrhythmia.
Keith married Tanya Trezise in 1998. In their early years they served at Edgewood Free Methodist Church, ultimately being part of an associated church plant in Parma, NY. They both worked there faithfully in leadership and music until in recent years attending New Hope Church in similar capacities.

Jake was first and foremost a man of God, a loving husband to Chrissy and a model father to Ruthie, Nadia, and Chase. He refused to allow complacency to dominate any aspect of his life, constantly pushing himself and others to be better. He wanted to serve the Lord with all he had and wanted the same for those around him. He understood genuine worship and led worship beautifully, in his actions as well as his music.
