Who is Family Promise of Greater Rochester?
FPROC is a not-for-profit, interfaith, culturally-competent organization that assists unhoused families by supporting them with tailored services including shelter, food, personalized case management, and a diverse network of caring volunteers.
Family Promise of Greater Rochester will have achieved success when affordable, decent, equitable housing is seen as a human right and every family has a place to call home.
In 2017, RAIHN served 33 families, providing housing for an average of 43 days. Over half (61%) of the families are employed or are in school. The majority of the families (82%) have graduated into permanent housing. All families are provided opportunities for aftercare to help them stay in permanent housing.
New Hope partners with Family Promise as a congregation that provides financial and volunteer support to the organization and its families.
